Impermanence

While some people dig impermanence, I wish I have a string to prevent my balloon from disappearing. I think I will never get a live pet. Not one that can jump, make noises, throw emotional fits and eventually dies or get lost. People go on and on about how cute puppies, kitties, blah blah blah are. Yes they are. And I am a woman. All women dig cute stuffs. While they spend their time walking their puppies in the parks, I stick to my BoBo (the bolster) and a new addition KiKi ( a gigiantic pink stuffed piggy with tiny weeny trotters). Because they never die. They get dirty yes, but they are always here with me.

You know how people say that dogs are man's best friends because they are always there with you when everyone else let you down. They can sense your emotions and they help you heal because you tell them everything. BoBo and KiKi are my best friends and they know every dark secret that I have. Well, maybe not KiKi cos he is really new, like a 10 days old but he will eventually get his share. I play with them like how other people with their puppies or kitties. Maybe you will never understand this. But I have a phobia of losing lives around me. I remembered that when I was 12 I kept thinking about what happened when my parents died. That kept me crying daily for 3 months and since then I can't bring myself to keep any pet and have grown really attached to BoBo. My mum always threatens to throw the poor fellow down the rubbish chute which I will prompt reply that I will have dettol for lunch.

Maybe I am really warpped in the mind.

MOg sounds like a nice pet.

Today we are having such a heavy downpour that the land around my house is flooding. I have to put KiKi right on top of the double-decked bed. Zookeeper thinks that I should at least save myself first. Like you know, see a doctor or something.
